Sundance LUV Duo Lands At Gersh

EXCLUSIVE: Gersh has signed Sheldon Candis and Justin Wilson. They co-written and Candis made his directorial debut on LUV, which opened up at Sundance in the usa Dramatic Competition and was acquired by Indomina and Wager in the 7-figure deal for U . s . States theatrical and broadcast rights. The film, which stars Common, Michael Rainey Junior, Dennis Haysbert and Danny Glover, premieres inside the fall. Candis & Wilson are developing film and tv projects through their Cinephile Academy banner, and so they remain handled by Jeremy Platt and Jelani Manley at Generate.
